Enjoy this 6-hour tour by visiting the La Capilla del Hombre Museum. Observe the meaningful art work, all the while accompanied by your guide and small-group of no more than 14. Partake in experiments at the Intiñan Museum and tour the Pululahua Volcano, a dormant volcano with a vast amount of biodiversity.

Depart from your central Quito hotel at approximately 8:30am, then make your way to “The Capilla del Hombre”. This museum exhibits Guayasamín’s work as a history of human suffering and violence in Latin America and the world. It includes sculptures and murals that integrates the surroundings into an artistic interpretation of the subject. Break for lunch, then head the northwest of Quito where you will visit the “Middle of the World Complex. Visit the current equatorial line and straddle the two hemispheres.
In addition, you will have a chance to participate in several experiments in the Intiñan Museum. Experiments include examples such as watching water go down a drain in a different direction only inches away from either side of the equator, balancing an egg on a nail, or using an ancient sun dial. At the conclusion of the trip, you will visit the Pululahua Volcano view point, where 40 families live inside the crater.
